On 27 July 2012, the eyes of the world will be on London. The London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games offer a unique, once in a generation opportunity to the country, and to Northumberland. The inspiring sporting and cultural events of the Games open up a legacy of social, economic and sporting opportunities that Northumberland Sport want to maximise.
We therefore want to ensure our local communities in Northumberland are inspired by London 2012 as we work with partners to deliver a lasting legacy which invests in our grass roots, nurtures talent and values and supports our volunteers.
