The Talented Athlete Grant Scheme is a small grant scheme for talented sports people aged 11 to 19 from Northumberland.

The scheme makes additional provision for talented athletes from families in receipt of specific benefits linked to low household income.

How much can you apply for?

The level of awards available is based on the following:

• A top four finish in the official North East NGB Championships: £50 grant towards training and competition costs and up to £100 for athletes from families facing additional financial hardship and in receipt of specific benefits.
• A top four finish in the official North of England NGB Championship or higher level championship including selection for official national/GB teams: £100 towards training and competition costs and up to £150 for athletes from families facing additional financial hardship and in receipt of specific benefits.

The deadline for the third round of applications has now closed.  Applications will now be considered and applicants will be notified in accordance with the terms & conditions (outlined above).
