Regional Sports Equity Network
Northumberland Sport plays an active role in the strategic steering group for sports equity in the North East. The Regional Sports Equity Network was established in 2003 and was the first network of its kind in the UK. The Network provides a key strategic voice for equality, comprising regional representatives from English Federation for Disability Sport, BECON and the Women's Sports Foundation to address inequalities in sport and physical activity.
