Northumberland Sport is committed to supporting all young people and adults who would like to get involved in sport through volunteer work or coaching.  We can harness your potential to be a top quality coach or leader and provide advice on training opportunities. 

 

Codes of Conduct

It is important that all coaches adopt a code of conduct which ensures they work to consistent high standards of ethical practice which focus on the people they coach.

Advice about codes of conduct should be available from the relevant National Governing Bodies for sport

Additionally Northumberland Sport advocate the following Codes of Behaviour and Guidance for coaches; parent; spectator and participants in order to try and ensure sport provides only positive and enhancing experiences for all.
