Coach Profiling

Create your own coach profile and support sports coach UK research into coaching by completing a SNAP Profile.

Why Complete the SNAP Profile Form?

The better a sport knows its coaches, the better able they are to keep them happy, challenged and active, providing an essential service to athletes and players from grass roots to Olympic level.

Contributing means you are helping your sport to know what their workforce is like now and what may be required to increase participation and performance in the future.  This information will be a key factor in attracting regional and national money from funders.  Not taking part could mean you may miss out on new opportunities to deliver, as well as access to support to meet the needs of your athletes/players.

The sport coach UK profile gathers information on the coaching qualifications you have obtained from both governing bodies and organisations such as Red Cross, plus information about relevant coaching courses and seminars you have attended, such as sports coach UK and Running Sports courses.

The form also asks for information about who you coach now and future coaching aspirations - who you would like to coach in the future, and also asks what your training needs/wants will be as part of your own Continued Professional Development (CPD).

The information you provide will be held by sports coack UK.  The sports involved in using the coach profile form are keen to support the needs of coaches, but unlesss they are aware of your aspirations as a coach and your specific training needs it is difficult to help you with the development of your coaching.

The survey takes 10 minutes to complete.  To access the survey click on the question button on the right at the top of this page.
