Ability Counts Football Festivals

We are delighted to announce the details of regional festival opportunities for disability football which clubs, individuals and organisations can participate in.
Nicola Hepworth of Northumberland Sport will actively be supporting the Northumberland Festival on the 24th June 2007 (see below for further details).
The festivals will cater for Under 12's and Under 16's and there will be four year age bands. There will also be a host of seperate categories for boys and girls in accordance with FA rules.
Participants are welcome to play in all festivals although some may find the most local festival to be the most convenient.

Sunday 10th June 2007, 11:00am - 2:00pm
Teeside Athletic Football Club, Redcar (Tees Valley)
Sunday 24th June 2007, 11:00am - 2:00pm
Northburn Sports and Community Centre, Cramlington (Northumberland)
Sunday 1st July 2007, 11:00am - 2:00pm
Sir Bobby Robson Centre, Durham Community Business College (Durham)
Festival Details
- Pan disability - for children of all abilities
- 7 v 7 for Under 16's, 5 v 5 for Under 12's (this is flexible and can be changed to suit the needs of participants)
- All games will be friendly
- Matches to be played on grass pitches
- All players are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear e.g. football boots and shin-pads
