2006 Swimming Team
Northumberland Sport are organising the 3rd Annual Swimming Festival for children with a disability. The fesitval will take place on 20th June 2007 at Willowburn Sport and Leisure Centre, Alnwick.
The festival aims to provide an opportunity for children with a disability across Northumberland to take part in individual and team swimming events.
This festival has proved to be a huge success in past years with up to 70 young people annually accessing swimming in a fun and supportive environment.
Our local Sporting Champion Nick Gillingham MBE will be in attendance.
Sporting Champions is a Sport England initiative which brings world-class athletes face-to-face with Young People to inspire and motivate them to participate in sport.
