Northumberland Sport is urging the local communities within the Berwick Borough and visitors alike to take up the challenge for this year’s Curfew Run.
This will take its traditional slot in July around the Elizabethan walls of Berwick in the time the Curfew Bell rings (continuously for 13mins from 8pm)
The event, on Wednesday 16th July 2008, starts at 8.00pm and registration is from 7.00pm on the grassed area opposite the Barracks. The entry charge is £2 adults and £1 for children under 16. Entries will only be taken on the day.
The run is popular with both experienced, novice, junior and senior runners a like.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female seniors (16 and over) and 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female juniors (under 16).
Events like this could never happen without the fantastic support from local sports clubs and volunteers.
