Bring a Friend for Free
Venues across Northumberland are opening their doors ready to welcome new people onto their badminton courts as part of a new 'Bring a Friend for Free promotion', run in partnership with BADMINTON England's 'No Strings Badminton' programme.
No Strings Badminton is a relaxed, social 'pay and play' session-based initiative aimed at adults of any age or ability.
The 'Friend for Free*' promotion will run from 1 April 2011 through to 31 May 2011.
As extra motivation to rally around your friends, No Strings Badminton are giving all participants the chance to win a great selection of prizes when you get on court at other No Strings Badminton sessions, right up to 31 May 2011.
MP3 players and a 42" wide screen TV are amongst the rewards on offer in prize draws when you attend sessions throughout April and May.
Over 510,600 people adults play badminton each week across England and, as a national initiative, No Strings Badminton is on a mission to motivate a further 10,000 adults to regularly head back onto a badminton court ahead of London 2012.
