Dance for Dan

In memory of their former student Dan Petini, whose life was tragically cut short on New Year’s Day 2008, by one of the world’s most mysterious diseases, namely a rare and little understood blood disorder, Haemophagocytic syndrome, Northumberland College have organised a Dance to raise funds for teenage cancer. Dan who was also diagnosed with Leukaemia last summer was expected to make a full recovery as a keen sports participant.

The ‘Dance for Dan’ event has been organised at Northumberland Sports College, Ashington on April 1 2009 and organisers are keen for everyone to come along to have a go in this fun, exciting event, which will raise funds for a great cause.
