Northumberland Triathlon Festival 2009

Northumberland Sport are pleased to announce details of the 2009 Triathlon Festival.
Working in partnership with British Triathlon and ONE Life Triathlon Club this years festival will begin on Saturday 20th June 2009 at 12:00pm at Druridge Bay County Park.
Northumberland Sport partnership will host a number of FREE activities that all visitors are welcome to participate in, these include;
- Climbing Wall
- Frisbee golf course
- Tennis factory
- Cycle skills challenge
- Triathlon challenge
- Water sports
Running alongside these fantastic events will be Northumberland’s first Open Water Swim which will take place in Ladyburn Lake. More information can found in our news article.
On Sunday the 21st June 2009 over 500 top athletes from across the country will descend on the Druridge Bay County Park for the British Triathlon Championships. More information can be found in our events section.
