Northumbria Squash Senior Open
A new squash tournament is to take place on November 25th-27th at the Northumberland Club, Jesmond.
Thanks to sponsorship from many local businesses, The Northumbria Squash Senior Open will offer a cash prize of £500 to the Men's Champion, with £300 to the runner-up, £150 to the semi-finalists and £50 to the quarter-finalists. The Ladies' wining prize will be £300 with cash prizes for the runner-up and semi-finalists.
It is hoped that this will attract a high standard of county and national players from around the country. Graded events for all standards will also take place with prizes donated by Harrow Sports.
