Novice Slalom

If your club is interested in slalom, or if you just fancy something different, Canoe England are hosting a novice slalom at the Dolphin Centre in Darlington. This is the first time a swimming pool slalom has been part of the national ranking system, but this doesn't mean that it will be too serious!

You don't have to have any specific slalom equipment, but there will be some salom boats, along with some canadian canoes (C1 adn C2) for people to try if they would like a go in a slalom boat, but they are execting quite a number of plastic boaters.

Why not link it in with a club event on the tees. Barnard Castle is just 30 minutes from Darlington and perfect for a morning splash around before heading over to the pool to warm yourself up!

The event will be starting at around 5pm,with first runs taking place from 7pm, but entries will be taken in advance so that you can avoid disappointment.
