Sportsability Festival 2011

Northumberland Sportsability Flyer

Northumberland Sport are hosting the 2011 Sportsability Festival on 1st and 2nd October 2011.

Associated to Northumberland Sport's 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games "Bringing the Games Closer" project this festival of sport will take place Sport Central, Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne.

This event is open to any young person aged between 9 - 18 years old with a learning disability, physical or sensory impairment from Northumberland who is looking to get involved in sport. The event will offer a range of activities for beginners and experienced participants.

The activities available over the weekend are as follows;

Archery
Athletics
Boccia
Climbing Wall
Fencing
Football
Swimming
Table Tennis
Wheelchair Basketball

Online bookings are no longer being taken for the event, however, you can register on the day. Please attend Sport Central at 9:30am on either Saturday 1st or Sunday 2nd October 2011.
