Professional triathlon

Alnwick District Triathlon Club have organised a free indoor women only triathlon on Thursday 26th March 2009, 7:00pm at Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre in Alnwick.

Participants will swim 8 lengths then get changed out of their swimming costume, go upstairs to the gym and complete the triathlon on the gym bike (5km) and treadmill (2km).  It will be a very informal affair, designed for the first timer and all abilities are welcome.

Last year more than half the participants went on to do their first full triathlon. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening and some are coming back this year to help out.
