Northumberland Sport are organising the 4th Annual Swimming Festival for children with a disability. The fesitval will take place on 21st May 2008 at Willowburn Sport and Leisure Centre, Alnwick.
The festival aims to provide an opportunity for children with a disability across Northumberland to take part in individual and team swimming events.
This festival has proved to be a huge success in past years with up to 70 young people annually accessing swimming in a fun and supportive environment. This was demonstrated in the excellent publicity generated from last year's event including BBC Look North news coverage.
Our local Sporting Champion Nick Gillingham MBE will once again be in attendance.
