Run for Cancer Research UK at Alnwick Castle

 

Would you like to take part in a 10k run at Alnwick Castle and help to raise funds for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work?

 

Starting and finishing in the meadows at the foot of Alnwick Castle walls, the course takes in the tranquil beauty of Hulne Park and is truly one of the most picturesque running events in the north. The run takes place on Sunday 9th September, starting at 11.00a.m, and everyone aged 15 and over is welcome to take part, from novice 10k runners to seasoned athletes.

 

Last year’s event drew almost 600 runners and raised a fantastic £31,000 for the charity. Organisers are hoping to attract even more runners this year and a warm welcome and a great atmosphere are guaranteed, so why not get involved and join in the fun?

 

Running a 10k is a great way to get fit, and by raising sponsorship money for Cancer Research UK you will be helping more people beat cancer. 

 

Entry is via the Cancer Research UK website and costs £17.50 which includes a t-shirt and a medal.
