Children and young people from across the county will have the chance to get active and have fun this half term with the launch of the Active Northumberland holiday programme.
With the school holidays just days away, Active Northumberland has lined up an action-packed programme of activities to keep young children entertained throughout the week – and many of them are free!
Hundreds of activities will be laid on for children and families including – swimming, gymnastics, archery, dance, basketball, football, cricket, clip ‘n climb, tenpin bowling and much more.
Opportunities will be available for all ages – from tots to teens and there will also be some activity camps run by fully qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches.
While some of the activities are ‘turn up’ sessions where you complete the registration form and turn up and play, others must be booked in advance to secure your place.
To view the holiday programme in full, visit the Active Northumberland website. Alternatively the information is available on the Active Northumberland app.
