Active Alnwick allows key players within the community to work in partnership, to bring about joint policy development, focussed planning and effective resourcing of sport and physical activity at a local level.
The Active Alnwick website provides information on a group of partners who make up the Alnwick District Sport and Physical Activity Alliance (SPAA) and the work that they do.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SPAA IS TO:
Develop, increase and sustain participation in sport and physical activity, building healthy, safe and successful communities.
THE VISION OF THE SPAA IS TO:
Develop within the Alnwick District an alliance for sustainable local sport and physical activity. It also aims to encourage and facilitate more people to start, stay and succeed in sport and physical activity at a level appropriate to their needs.
