Alnwick Schools Gain 'FA Charter Standard'
In November, in partnership with Katy Taylor, our North Northumberland Community Football Coach, Northumberland Sport and Northumberland FA, a one day FA TOPs Course was held at Alnwick South First School.
The course was an introduction to coaching football in first schools, for teachers and AOTTs, in the Alnwick/Berwick area. The course was attended by staff from the following first schools in the Alnwick area, Alnwick South, St Michaels Alnwick, Longhoughton , Hipsburn, Ellingham, Embleton and Branton.
Alnwick South, Longhoughton, Hipsburn and Ellingham Schools have all successfully been awarded FA Charter Standard, whilst the other three schools are awaiting confirmation of FA Charter Standard Status.
