Sports Development Quest Success

Following an assessment visit the Sports Development Team at North Country Leisure have maintained their Quest accreditation with an increased score of 74%.

 

The Team, covering the Alnwick and Tynedale Districts, are the only one in Northumberland to have this award and only 1 of 3 Sports Development teams in the North East Region to have this prestigious quality mark. The score puts the team at the top end of the commended segment, only 1% away from being highly commended.

 

Lorraine Oliver, Community Sports Officer said, “We’ve done very well and are pleased with our achievements. We have increased our percentage by over 10% and we look forward to continuing our improvement at our next assessment”

Quest is the UK Quality Scheme for Sport and Leisure. Quest is a tool for continuous improvement, designed primarily for the management of leisure facilities and leisure development. Quest defines industry standards and good practice and encourages their ongoing development and delivery within a customer focused management framework.
