Sports Development Team Expands
North Country Leisure Alnwick has expanded its Sports Development team which brings sport and activities to local communities in the Alnwick area.
Working closely with organisations that have sport and physical activity on their agenda, such as Northumberland Sport and Alnwick District Sports Council, the team aims to increase participation in activities across the region.
Nicola Sanders has been appointed as 'Women, Girls and Fifty-plus Coach’ who will be delivering a wide variety of sports to schools and communities in the Alnwick District. Nicola is a qualified level 2 coach in a range of sporting activities including Cheerleading, Basketball and Netball. Leah Flynn has been appointed as ‘Community Sports Officer’ and will provide administrative support to the sports development team as well as acting as secretary for Alnwick District Sports Council.
