First Aid Course
First Aid
First Aid is a Practical subject. The above course is designed with this in mind and is therefore 80% practical.
The course is recommended for those people who run trips or work in the outdoors, or run events in a non-urban environment. Also this particular first aid course is recognized by National Governing Bodies for sport.
These courses are a 2 day workshops. These are two sessions dates for the workshops:

The Courses will cover these particular areas:
- First Aid Principles
- Vital signs
- Shock
- Accident procedure ABCDE
- CPR
- Resuscitation theory
- Dealing with incidents
- Bleeding
- Fractures (minor)
- Neck injuries
- Choking
- Major trauma injury site (head, chest, stomach, pelvis, thighs)
- 2 person and team rescues
- Cold injuries
- Outdoor scenarios
- Multiple casualties
- Common illnesses
The cost for the course is £80 per person. If you wish to stay over night in Ford Castle it will cost you £38. This includeds accommodation, evening meal and breakfast.
