Level 1 Rowing (Dry Based)

Active Berwick have successfully gained the coaching course of Level 1 Rowing (dry based).

The course will take place at Berwick High School on the 11th of January 2009.

This certificate for indoor rowing covers introduction to technique as well as rowing for health and rowing for success.

The award qualifies candidates to deliver coaching activities, assisting other more qualified coaches in the coaching of the skills and techniques of indoor rowing to adults and children.

The award focuses on developing three coaching behaviours:

·         having a concern for standards

·         being a participant-centred coach

·         looking to develop continually as a coach
