Tynedale Healthy Life

Tynedale Healthy Life work with Active Tynedale to offer services open for anyone who would like to become more active and/or lose weight in order to either benefit their health generally and prevent lifestyle-related medical conditions from developing or improve existing medical conditions.

Regular physical activity has many benefits. It can:

  • Aid weight control/improve shape
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Strengthen the heart & improve circulation & breathing
  • Prevent medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, some cancers
  • Strengthen muscles, joints & bones
  • Improve mobility
  • Aid relaxation yet increase energy
  • Reduce depression, stress and anxiety

As the services are tailored to suit the person, they are appropriate for all ages from 7 years upwards.
