Last Chance for the Haltwhistle Walking Festival

The Haltwhistle Walking Festival starts this Saturday, 30thApril. The walks for this years Festival have been very well subscribed to this spring but there are still spaces available for those who wish to book at the last minute.

The countryside around Haltwhistle is currently looking at it's most magnificent as the fresh growth on the heather making the moorland look more striking than usual and the spring wild flowers all seem to be coming out at once.

The festival is a chance to be guided around some of the very best places with like minded people who enjoy experiencing the continually changing beauty of this area.

There is a great range of walks available, from 4 - 15 miles, from easy to strenuous, a choice of 27 in total. Full details of all the walks can viewed on the website at www.haltwhistlewalkingfestival.org where bookings can also be made online.
