Dads and Lads Go Paddling

Tyne Valley Canoe Club are holding a Dads and Lads come and try it session on Saturday 19th June from 10am - 1pm. Mums and the girls are also welcome but the emphasis will be on a Father's Day treat. There will be a small charge of £3.50 to cover insurance but all equipment will be provided free of charge. Participants will be offered a ½ hr session to try canoes and kayaks and longer depending on demand. The sessions will be ran by Tyne Valley qualified coaches and equipment provided by the club at the Tyne Riverside Country Park where the club is based. Participants are not expected to get wet but bring a change of clothes just in case. Suitable clothing for watersports should be worn and footwear. Do not wear Jeans or cotton t shirts. An opportunity will be offered where participants can find out more about the sport and where they can continue their interest.
