DERWENT RESERVOIR SAILING CLUB OPEN DAY SAT 29 AUGUST 2009

The club is to hold an open day on Saturday 29th. August (from 11am to 4pm) and welcomes all to come and experience its facilities and views. Those interested will be encouraged to experience sailing or windsurfing at first hand.

Food and drink will be served all day in the clubhouse, or visitors can enjoy their own picnic outside. There will many members available to discuss what the club has to offer both on and off the water together with special offers for those joining the club on the day.

Those wishing to sail/windsurf should bring old shoes (trainers are best) and a change of clothes since they will get wet.

 

The club is located on the north shore of Derwent Reservoir and is most easily reached from the Dale via Blanchland and Carricks Country Park.
