SATURDAY/SUNDAY 20/21 JUNE
CRAFTINSURE TOPPER NATIONAL EVENT
There only 5 of these national series events and the very keen sailors are selected into the national youth training squads through their results at these competitions. This ensures that this event is a must for the very best young Topper sailors in the
There will be between 170 – 200 Toppers sailing, which will make a marvellous spectacle on the water and will be well worth coming to watch. The bar will be open on Friday and Saturday night, with a quiz for all on Saturday at 1930.
SATURDAY/SUNDAY 27/28 JUNE
This weekend sees the High performance dinghies sailed at a high speed! The Musto Skiff and B14 Open Meeting will be at Derwent. This is part of the Musto Skiff northern area circuit and part of the B14 national traveller series. An expected turnout of 15 – 20 boats but yet again a very high quality turn out.
On the water also on Sunday will be Club racing and the Team 15 sailors (see next) so all sailors are asked to be aware of what courses and what other sailors are on the water.

Derwent will hold the final of the North East Youth Traveller Series for under 19 yr old sailors from the ten local clubs, a relaxed fun series of events for the beginner sailor as well as the expert. The best of local talent will be sailing in a variety of boats as well as the novice.
