CPD Opportunity: Tier 3 Multi-skill/ability trilogy
As a Local Delivery Agency for CPD in Northumberlanda central focus of our programme this year (2010/11) has been on the provision of CPD opportunities in multi - skills and multi abilities, linking with the create development FUNS and Raising The Bar resources.
Over a 110 members of staff have engaged in the tier 1 and 2 events provided to date and the CPD and accompanying resources have been extremely well received.by all attending.
CPD Update - March 2011
We had planned to offer Tier 3 (Assessment wheel) training entitled "ACCELERATING ABILITES" on the 12th April, however due to the termination of National funding for the Professional Development Programme and local cuts in the Early Years and Schools Service - our programme along with the post of Lead CPD Trainer will be ending on the 31st March 2011.
This is disappointing news and makes it impossible for us to go ahead with the 12th April event - however we are pleased that through our recent collaborative work with neighbouring LDA (Newcastle), we are able to offer Northumberland staff the chance to access a Tier 3 event being coordinated by Ted Baty (Lead Trainer for Newcastle LDA at Benfield Sports College).
Those delegates who have previously attended Tiers 1 and 2 are able to access this event and should contact:
