GAN Summer Holiday Programmes
The Get Active Northumberland Summer Holiday Programmes are due to run from August 9th 2010. For 7-13 year olds the programme is running from Ashington Leisure Centre and for 14+ year olds the programme is running from Cramlington Sporting Club.
Help is URGENTLY required to refer children aged 7-13 years old who are very overweight to the Public Health Team to attend our programme, which is for families with children that have weight concerns. We also require referrals of teenagers of 14+ years to attend our GAN 4 The Lads programme in Cramlington.
The programmes deliver healthy lifestyle messages through a mixture of healthy eating and physical activity and are delivered in a fun and enjoyable way.
Attached are leaflets with all the details of the courses to give to families, a poster to display and the referral form.
