Developments in Northumberland

10 of our proactive secondary (middle and high schools) were recently invited to attend the above workshop aimed at:

Providing key members of staff & SSCo’s, from nominated pilot schools, with an opportunity to:

  • Develop an understanding of yoUR Leaders and how it can be used as a student centred curriculum model to support the new secondary curriculum and contribute to other national strategies.
  • Identify the benefits for young people of using this approach in lessons and discuss how they might pilot the roll out yoUR Leaders as a curriculum unit within their own school (produce an action plan supporting its development).
  • Become familiar with the newly developed yoUR Leader resource pack (each attending school received 1 Free resource to support them in their developmental work)

Agreed Actions
