ClubMark Update

North East CSP's Now Licensed

Northumberland Sport along with the other CSPs in the North East (County Durham Sport, Tees Valley Sport and Tyne & Wear Sport) are now all licensed to accredit clubs through the national Clubmark Scheme. The CSPs are one of a number of licensed awarding bodies including other CSP's and National Governing Bodies, which can support clubs to achieve the accreditation standards. Northumberland Sport can support clubs wanting to gain accreditation through members of the core team including the Club and Coach Development Officer.

The best way to deliver this available support to community clubs is currently being consulted with local sport development trust partners and National Governing Bodies in the county if you require more information about ClubMark please contact Stephen Parsons.

ClubMark Continues to Grow Within the County

In the period March 2009 - March 2010 the number of clubs either accredited or working towards their national accreditations have increased for the 3rd year in a row.
 
The total number of clubs in Northumberland either accredited or working towards their accreditation is 115 (with 62 clubs accredited and a further 53 working towards their accreditations).
