Sport Relief has just announced that a WHOPPING £44,250,251 was raised during this year's mile events organised across the country in March this year.

Northumberland Contribution

Thanks to the 613 Milers in Northumberland who took part to raise money for this fantastic cause at;

Together the 3 events managed to contribute almost £15,000, which is a great achievement.

2012 Sport Relief Plans

Northumberland Sport will once again be looking to work together with Sport Relief and local partners to build on this success for 2012. 

The team are therefore on the lookout for motivated people with the skills and experience to organise a Mile event for their town or local community club/setting.
