New No Strings Badminton in Morpeth
New No Strings Badminton session is providing a fun, friendly alternative to the traditional form of fitness at Morpeth Riverside Leisure Centre.
Morpeth Riverside LC are running regular No Strings badminton sessions on Monday's between 12pm and 1.30pm and Wednesday's 7-8pm both £3 per session starting week beginning 14th November 2011. Check out the website for more venues in the local area.
No Strings Badminton is a fresh, new initiative that makes it simple and extremely sociable for more people to welcome the benefits of badminton back into their lives, grab a racket and head out for a spot of convenient on court action.
Whether you want a fun solution to fill your free time when the kids are busy swimming, burn off those cheeky Friday night pints with the lads, drop shot your way to a lower dress size, or simply catch up on court with your pals for a gossip and a laugh, Morpeth Riverside Leisure Centre now offer sessions to reshape your social life.
The beauty of No Strings Badminton is its simplicity. There are no membership fees, no contracts or hidden clauses to tie you down. The Morpeth Riverside sessions will open up 'pay and play' opportunities for any adult of any age or any ability to turn up and have fun on their own terms.
Karen Davison, Coordinator at Morpeth Riverside LC told us "The whole point of No Strings Badminton is that you'll get to meet other like minded people on court, have fun whilst getting fitter and improve your playing skills whether you come alone or rally around your friends".
Lynsey Edwards, Regional Officer added "With no need to book in advance and with equipment provided, Morpeth Riverside are making it as flexible and affordable for Morpeth Riverside's population to get active and back on court at times that fit their busy schedules".
From now until 30 November 2011, anyone getting on court at 1 No Strings Badminton session can automatically enter a prize draw for the chance to WIN £500. In addition, the more times you attend up to 30 Nov 2011, the more times your name gets entered into the cash prize draw.
As an extra incentive to join the growing ranks of regular players ahead of London 2012, the No Strings Badminton team at Morpeth Riverside are also offering a free branded sports t-shirt in a colour and fit of choice. The free branded sports t-shirt offer is open to anyone attending 6 or more No Strings Badminton sessions in the weeks leading up to 30 November 2011.
