Sports Kids North East and Cumbria on BBC

BBC Look North is seeking the North East and Cumbria sports stars of the future for their Sports Kids series.

Previous years have featured participants from Middlesbrough's world champion kickboxer Chantelle to Commonwealth Games swimmer Jessica Dickons, who swam for England in Delhi this autumn.

There are no restrictions in terms of talent, as dedication can be just as important as skill, and the series spans the complete range of sports - from archery to zorbing and everything in between.

Our only requirement is that participants must be 16 or under to be considered.
