Sports Week Makes a Splash

To kick start the beginning of Castle Morpeth’s Sports Week, Morpeth Amateur Swimming Club held an open coached swimming session for all. Volunteers from the club took the session, introducing swimmers to the club environment, developing skills such as streamlining, starts and strokes which are used within competitive swimming.
Nine swimmers attended the session, travelling from as far as Stockport. Starting Sunday 29th March, 4-5pm, this will be a regular session, open to swimmers in the local Swim School and anyone wondering what it may be like to join a swimming club without making an immediate full commitment.
