Summer Holidays Packed Full of Fun
Charitable company Leisure Alnwick District, in partnership with Alnwick District Council, are launching their popular Summer 6 promotion, giving children who take part in six activities over the holidays the chance to win a brand new skateboard or multi sports equipment.
Leisure Alnwick District’s Summer 6 holiday programme is packed full of fun activities including courses for children of all ages.
Every child visiting Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre, Rothbury Swimming Pool, taking part in an Alnwick Health Walk or any Sports Development Scheme activity will receive a Summer 6 promotion card with six boxes to be stamped at every junior session attended. After taking part in five sessions, the sixth visit is free and the child receives a small prize! The completed card is handed into reception to be entered into a free prize draw, to take place at the end of the summer holidays for a chance to win a skateboard.
The prize includes knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards all with adjustable quick release strapping for protection.
With activities for all ages there is everything, from Chinese Kickboxing at Willowburn Sports & Leisure Centre, family swimming at Rothbury Swimming Pool to multi sports sessions. Children can learn to swim at Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre and many more can have a great time playing beach cricket at Alnmouth beach. The more adventurous can try windsurfing, kayaking, sailing or canoeing.
