Sporting Champions

Sporting Champions takes past and present elite athletes into schools and communities to motivate and inspire more young people to get active and achieve their potential in sport.

The scheme forms part of Sport England’s drive to get more people - from all backgrounds – active and involved in sport.

Sporting Champions also work in Partnership with the Youth Sport Trust to ensure visits are easier to organise for schools, the experience is improved and that Sporting Champions work in close co-operation with current school sport and community structures.
