DCSF Safe from Bullying Guide

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) have produced Safe from Bullying: Guidance for Local Authorities and Other Strategic Leaders on Reducing Bullying in the Community.

The Safe from Bullying guidelines include

  • Children's Homes
  • Extended services in and around schools
  • Further Education Colleges
  • Journeys
  • Play and Leisure
  • Youth Activities

The Play and Leisure resource outlines the possible bullying that might occur in play and leisure and describes steps to prevent it and respond to it effectively. It provides information on the different types of bullying, including that of potentially vulnerable groups.
