Sports volunteering in England accounts for 26% of total adult volunteering with over one billion hours contributed to sport each year!
Without volunteers sport would not be sustainable. Volunteers have often been quoted as being the lifeblood of British sport.
With the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games approaching fast even more quality volunteers are going to be needed. The Games, a unique global celebration of sport, will ultimately involve up to 70,000 volunteers from all around the world – and you could be one of them!
