Volunteer Event Team at Sport Relief Mile, Druridge Bay Country Park, 2010
If you are aged 16-19 and involved in the Step into Sport programme in Northumberland and would like to volunteer at Countywide sporting events, then the Northumberland Sport Volunteer Event Team is for you!
As part of the Volunteer Events Team you would work with Northumberland Sport and National Governing Bodies to help promote and volunteer at a wide variety of sporting events and competitions.
This team is a great way to meet new people, gain volunteering hours as part of a Step into Sport placement, enhance and improve your current skills and much more!"

Last year the Volunteer Event Team 2009/2010 were involved in a variety of County wide events. In particular they were greatly involved in organising the Sport Relief Mile which was held at Druridge Bay Country Park.
